This episode, we read two chart-topping hits about sad boys, computer games, and dubious moral decisions. We read Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline, and Ender’s Game, by Orson Scott Card, and oh boy, was it a time.

Part 1 is spoiler free, so listen with no worries about getting spoiled so hard you never want to read these books (though you may never want to read them for other reasons).

Part 2 is spoiler full, so watch out for that if you want to read these books (which you…might not).

We’re joined by Dr Ben Abraham, lecturer at UTS, game critic and latent-communist. You can follow him at @10rdben and Jen Dougherty, editor of the three c’s corporate content, content marketing and children’s books. You can follow her at @fury_jen.
